On May 20, 2020, Governor Walz issued Executive Order 20-56, outlining plans for bars and restaurants to open on June 1st for outdoor service so long as certain conditions, including social distancing, are maintained to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

To assist Maplewood businesses with making the changes necessary to resume providing service in a healthy and safe manner, the City  is allowing business to request an expansion of their outdoor dining options until restrictions are lifted. Please fill out and submit the application below for consideration:
