Geocache Program

If you want an exciting new hobby that allows you to combine your love of technology with nature and exploration, geocaching is for you!

Basically, geocaching is a world-wide scavenger hunt using GPS technology. Geocaching is great for people of all ages and abilities. There are caches hidden all over the world in cities and forests and everything in between. The most recent statistics indicate that there are "1,084,870 active caches and an estimated 3 to 4 million geocachers worldwide."

Passport to Maplewood Parks!

Your Mission: Hunt down the site of each cache in the parks. Write down the secret word from each cache in your passport log. Once your passport is full, bring it to the Parks and Recreation Department to claim your prize, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. The parks and recreation department is located at:
