Parks & Open Space

Located in the heart of the metropolitan area, the City of Maplewood offers community living at its best.

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to provide a community environment for all citizens to participate in and enjoy cultural and recreational activities on an equitable basis.

Field Usage/Rentals

Fields are "first come first served" for regular park usage by patrons. This does not apply to large organized events.

Fields are also available for rent. For availability and fees call 651-249-2204.

Park Rules

  • Parks are open from 5 am to 10 pm
  • Vehicles may be in parking lots only when parks are open

  • Pets must be on a leash. Person in control of pet must clean up any feces
    Up to $200 Fine

  • Noise and nuisance ordinances in effect

Recycling in the Parks

In an effort to reduce trash and promote recycling, the City of Maplewood offers recycling in our parks. Look for the blue bins and do your part in helping keep our parks clean!
