Order Online: Maplewood Trees For Sale

Maplewood is partnering with Tree Trust, a local non-profit, to sell discounted trees to our residents only. Hundreds of trees in Maplewood die each year due to development, pests and diseases, environmental conditions, age, and other factors. 

Dates:

• Online preview and paper forms available Monday, February 2
• Paper forms due by Monday, February 16
• Online Orders start Monday, March, 2
• Trees are available for purchase until Friday May 1 or until sold out 

Pickup Dates:

• Required pickup dates and times; there will be no exceptions / special pickups. More details below.
  • Saturday, May 16, 9:00 am – noon
  • Monday, May 18, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm 

Details:

• $40 per tree, up to two trees per property.
• For purchase by Maplewood residents only.
• For planting only on your Maplewood property (but not in rights-of-way).
• Trees must be pre-ordered and picked up during one of two pick-up events.
• Trees are in #10 containers, are up to 8 feet tall and will fit in most empty vehicles.  
• Each tree comes with a bag of mulch, planting instructions and a tree care booklet. 
• Water bags and tree guards are available for purchase.
• Selection varies each year. Species information is provided on the online sale webpage or paper order form. Detailed information and photos of trees native to Minnesota can be found at Minnesota Wildflowers. 
• No refunds or warranty.

Order Via Mail: 

Pick-up an order form at City Hall or Maplewood Nature Center. See mail-in information above and mail your request so it is received by the deadline.

Pick-up:

Tree Trust will provide pick-up information. If someone else is picking up on your behalf, they must bring that information. Come with an empty vehicle.

Pick-up Location: 

Maplewood Public Works Building; 1902 County Rd B East

Trees must be picked up during one of the designated dates and times, no special pick-ups. Any remaining trees will be forfeited. Trees must be pre-ordered. Extra trees are not available for purchase on pick-up day.
