4H PROGRAM REGISTRATION INFO:
For registration support, please contact Kurtis Hewes (hewes020@umn.edu or 612-624-7626)
- Step 1: Enroll in 4-H online (v2.4honline.com). The 4-H Enrollment Guide may be helpful.
- Allow 1-2 days for your enrollment to be approved. Then, you will be able to go back in and register for the Event.
- Step 2: Register for “4-H Winter is Wonderful” in the Events section of 4-H Online.
4-H Winter is Wonderful! (Grades K-5)
Wintertime in Minnesota is wonderful! Join us for two upcoming half-day camps at the Maplewood Nature Center to explore the beauty of nature by engaging in outdoor play, crafts, science experiments, and snacks. Please dress in warm layers as we will be adventuring outside no matter the weather! Registration cost is $10 per participant. Register in 4-H Online.
Dates: Session 1: Friday February 27th
Session 2: Friday March 6th
Time: 9am-12pm
Ages: Grades K-5
Cost: $10/participant per session
Nature Programming Partnerships
We are excited for our programming partnership with ISD622 Community Education at the Maplewood Nature Center. Experienced naturalists will guide each of these professionally developed hands-on learning sessions.

The pond, trial, outdoor exhibits and indoors Touch and See room are open. You can also explore on your own for free with one of our interpretive brochures.

Touch and see, read and learn! Our outdoor exhibits engage the senses, and a variety of learning styles and our indoor touch and see room offer some fun things for little ones to explore.
