Coffee with a Cop

Come out to various locations throughout Maplewood and join us for coffee and conversation. No speeches or lectures just a chance to talk to the officers in your community. 

Citizens Academy

The Maplewood Police Department provides many opportunities for Citizens to partner with the police. Citizens can get a first-hand look at police work by attending the annual Citizens Academy.

Jr. Police Academy

The Maplewood Police Department in partnership with John Glenn Middle School and Maplewood Middle School offers an 8-session Jr. Police Academy during the school year. The kids learn about what police officers do including fingerprinting and evidence collection, K9 teams, traffic enforcement, and other duties and assignments that officers have.

National Night Out

Citizens can become more involved in the safety of the neighborhood by participating in National Night Out in August or forming a Neighborhood Watch group.
