1. How can I check the status of my passport?

Passports are processed and issued by the U.S. Department of State. If you have already applied and would like to check the status of your application, call the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778 or TDD/TTY at 1-888-874-7793 or visit their website.

2. Do you take passport photos?

Yes, we take passport photos at our location. The fee for photos is $10 per person.

3. Do I need to bring my children with when I apply for their passports?

Yes, all applicants must be present when applying for a passport, regardless of age. 

Visit the U.S. Department of Sate’s website for more information about applying for a child’s passport: 

• 15 years and under
• 16 & 17 years old

4. Will I need to bring my Social Security Card when I apply for a passport?

The U.S. Department of state requires applicants to provide their Social Security Number on the passport application; however, the physical Social Security Card is not required.

Please note, a Social Security Card may serve as Secondary Identification if an applicant is unable to provide Primary Identification with their application. You can read more about primary vs. secondary identification here.

5. Can I submit my passport application online?

No. Passport applications are not allowed to be submitted electronically (online). Applications can be filled out online; however, must be printed (single sided, only) and submitted either through the mail or in person at a facility.
