Southcrest-Ferndale Area Pavement Rehabilitation, City Project 20-09

About the Project:

The Southcrest-Ferndale Project is a pavement rehabilitation project proposed for construction in 2021. This type of project typically includes the replacement of the failed street pavement, the spot replacement of severely deteriorated concrete curb and gutter,  and minor upgrades to the underground utilities (sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain).

Project Status:

The feasibility study for this project was accepted by the Maplewood City Council in January of 2021. This report included information on the scope of the project, the cost of the improvements, methods for financing the improvements, and a preliminary project schedule. The Public Hearing for this project is scheduled for March 8, 2021.
