The Schaller Area Pavement Rehabilitation, City Project 19-11, is a pavement rehabilitation focused project that is currently under construction and is projected to be completed in September 2020. The project includes many improvements to the neighborhood streets and utility infrastructure including a full depth reclamation (grinding and mixing) of the existing pavement and underlying aggregate base, installation of new pavement, spot replacement of damaged concrete curb and gutter, and minor repairs to the underground utilities (storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain).
The majority of the project improvements have been completed. The final layer of pavement will be installed the week of August 31st. The installation of pavement control joints will be installed the week of September 7th, along with the rehabilitation of a number of storm sewer catch-basins throughout the project area. The project will be fully completed by the original September 18th completion goal.
The City and Contractor, Northwest Asphalt, thank you for your patience and cooperation as we made these improvements to your neighborhood. Enjoy the smooth roads!
