TGK Automotive Specialists is proposing to construct a 2,000 square foot addition to the existing automotive repair shop located at 2545 Conway Avenue East. The applicant needs city council approval of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP), setback variance and design review. Since the existing building was built before the most current zoning code, there is not a CUP on file. This application serves as a way to bring the use into compliance with the current code. Also, a variance is required to allow the use because the property is within 350 feet of a residential zoned parcel.
The project will go before the Community Design Review Board and the Planning Commission on September 17, 2019.
